Call for Papers Information
The 2008 Seminar on Ultrasonic Metering will be held in Estes Park, CO July 23rd - 25th, 2008. This 2-1/2
day event has become one of the industries most valuable events to participate in for those involved in the natural
gas industry and in the use of Ultrasonic Meters. Many have commented that this seminar with it's open forum for
discussion and debate is "one of the best events to attend for the dollar." "If there is one show that a person needs to
attend, it should be the CEESI Ultrasonic Seminar."
Since it's beginning in 2000, this event has been designed for the end user. Participation in the Ultrasonic
Seminar has become an event that a number of companies are requiring their Technicians and Engineers to attend
as a part of their continuing education. In the year 2000, this event hosted 64 attendees and as technology has
developed, so has the value of the Ultrasonic Seminar. In 2007 this event hosted 110 participants ranging from
field technicians to Engineers to financial auditing personnel from not only the US but from International countries
such as Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Venenzuela, Germany, The Netherlands, China, Malaysia just to name a few.
Topics of discussion can range from bolt up, to diagnostics of the ultrasonic, to flow conditioning, clean verses
dirty equipment, field operations, AGA 9 and it's revisions, to ISO Standards, to noise effects, effects of valve
location, to flow profiling, to continued calibration of ultrasonics, to the bottom, line and everything else in between.
Discussions and research presentations are presented by individuals who are involved.
