CEESI provides a wide range of research, specialty testing, and consulting services.
Research regarding wet gas, hydrates, and multiphase flow is handled at our wet gas, hydrate, multiphase research facility. Within this
facility are three distinct research loops, each for specific kinds of testing. These three research loops include:
CEESI has conducted research into:
- performance characteristics of GLCC's separators (gas-liquid compact cyclonic separators)
- performance characteristics of spinning drum liquid-gas separators
- performance characteristics of small cavitating venturis for rocket engine control and protection
- performance characteristics of large cavitating venturis for coolant water flow in nuclear power stations
- premature un-choking phenomena with small critical flow venturis
- fuel control and measurement equipment for large stationary gas turbines
- moisture control systems for removal of water vapor in high pressure piping systems
- performance characteristics of ultrasonic transducers operating at high pressures (10,000 psi)
- particle size distribution of piping insulation during/after piping rupture
