CEESI Measurement Solutions (CMS) Announcement
Updated: 1/20/2011
CPL & Associates & CEESI Join Forces
We are pleased to announce a merger between CPL & Associates and the engineering division of CEESI. On January 1st, 2011 the two companies joined forces to form CEESI Measurement Solutions (CMS). CMS will provide on-site/off-site analysis and measurement solutions for lost and unaccounted for fluids. Paul LaNasa (president and CEO of CPL & Associates) will remain intimately involved with on-site assessments, and will be teaming up with several new CMS employees to meet client’s needs. Long time natural gas experts, Bill Fraiser and Ed Hanks, have joined LaNasa to provide additional measurement knowledge and experience. CMS efforts will be managed by Joel Clancy (vice president of CEESI’s natural gas facility in Iowa).
I’m excited about the merger. With industry tightening its belt in recent years, the demand for measurement solutions has drastically increased our business. I just couldn’t be in multiple places at the same time, and quite frankly we needed more boots on the ground to provide the service our clients were demanding,” said LaNasa. “Joining forces with CEESI’s engineering division provides the added resources required to address our client’s needs.
Ed Hanks joined the CMS staff in January. With 14 years of hands-on, trouble-shooting pipeline experience, Hanks is considered an expert in Gas Ultrasonic Metering by his fellow colleagues. Hanks brings a wealth of project management experience to CMS and has a reputation of openness and honesty.
In addition to LaNasa, Frasier, Hanks and Clancy, CMS has access to the broad knowledge base of the CEESI Technical Staff. Bill Johansen, Casey Hodges, Richard Steven, Eric Harman, Tom Kegel, Charlie Britton and the other CEESI engineers bring over 200 years of measurement experience to CMS.
