DATE & LOCATION April 5-7, 2017 in Noordwijk, Netherlands.
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
With ample amount of natural gas, LNG, crude and other hydrocarbons in the market today and the number of dollars that flow through pipelines; the highest possible accuracy must be obtained. A tightening metering uncertainty envelope has led to the questioning of original assumptions and re-examining of standards.
Rising demand, escalating value, and difficult production provide a clear rationale to focus on the importance of quality measurement. Meters need to provide the best possible measurement while performing under increasingly difficult circumstances. The need to tighten metering uncertainty has led to the questioning of original assumptions and re-examination of standards.
This event brings together a wealth of information as well as new ideas and new questions regarding custody transfer measurement. Meter manufacturers are making significant improvements to their meters at a rapid pace. The shear gas volume in the market today and the number of dollars flowing through gas pipelines demands the highest accuracy possible in metering stations. As the metering uncertainty envelope tightens, original assumptions are questioned and standards are re-examined establishing the need for new test data. The North American Custody Transfer Measurement Conference is a one of a kind event that caters to the hydrocarbon measurement industry. This event allows for open discussion on metering from a user’s standpoint. Today’s challenges and successes, as well as "lessons learned as both users and manufacturers will offer presentations on topics such as:
- Proving Meters with Low Measurement Uncertainties
- Meter Station Field Assessments
- Liquid Flow Conditioning
- Viscosity Effects with Coriolis Metering
- LNG Custody Measurement
- Clamp-On Metering Technologies
- Ultrasonic Meter Diagnostics
- Coriolis Meter Diagnostics and proper zeroing
- Recalibration intervals for custody transfer meters
- AGA and API Standard Updates
TWO WORKSHOPS JOIN FORCES
The European Flow Measurement Workshop is being offered in conjunction with the Metrology for LNG workshop
. Discounts on event registration for those
attending both workshops.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
This workshop is applicable for technicians, engineers, research staff, auditors,
sales representatives, government regulators, equipment manufacturers.
CALL FOR ABSTRACTS
We invite manufacturers, end users, academics and government organizations to submit your technical abstracts for presentation
. We are especially keen on receiving submissions from end users on their experiences regarding practical issues and challenges they have run into in LNG or flow measurement.
The deadline of submission of abstracts is 15 January 2017, after which the Program Committee will carefully review the abstracts with respect to merit and relevance. The Program Committee will the authors of the submitted abstracts on acceptance or rejection by 27 January 2017.
- Please write your abstract in English
- The abstract should contain at least: a title, the objective, the main results or arguments and the conclusion
- Please restrict the abstract to a maximum of 1 page (text and figures) or 10 slides
Presentations the previous conference in 2016 are available for free download from the Flow Measurement Technical Library
